Good News/Sad News

The sad news (because most people like to have a chance to be cheered up) is that we have decided to cancel the Shakespeare Competition trip this year. There is just too much going on. But the things that are going on are the good news. The musical is still taking place with the auditions being held Sept. 12-14. Come ready to sing 16 bars on the 12th, ready to read on the 13th, and ready to dance on the 14th.

The other exciting thing that is happening is that we have been invited by Herriman City to help paint, decorate, and run a haunted house. It is called Diablo's Dome, and they need our help. If you are interested, please let me know what your schedule is like during the next two months (Sept. and Oct.) so that I can put together a sign-up sheet for painting and working.

We're Back

I am excited to welcome you all back to school this year. I know I'm not that great at updating the blog, but we'll see how I do this year. Right off the bat, we'll be having Shakespeare Competition Auditions on the 6th of September right after school in the Little Theatre. Hopefully we can get a good group to go so the cost can be less. Also, get yourselves ready for musical auditions, coming up on the 12, 13, and 14 of September. We will be doing Once Upon a Mattress. See you soon.

UTA Info.

All students going to UTA must get their notarized insurance information turned into the office so that we can take them. They must bring money for food--about $60 to $100, just to be safe. And they must come to the stage of the Little Theatre at 6:45 a.m. on January 20th with all the things they've packed for the weekend to get on the bus.

I'm super excited.
