Region Competition

Please come audition for Region Drama Competition. Audition times are in the Little Theatre on February 21st and 22nd between 7 and 7:30 am before school. You may audition for one or more of the following categories:

One-Act Play
Dramatic Monologue
Comedic Monologue
Pantomime
Musical Theatre
Classical Scene (1900 and before)
Contemporary Scene (After 1900)

We compete in March with other schools in the region. Come show some school spirit and support the arts!

Harvey Begins Soon

Make sure to mark your calendars to come see Harvey. We have worked so hard on it and it has come together beautifully. It is such a great show, and I hope everyone can make it. The dates and times are as follows:

UTA Info.

All students going to UTA must get their notarized insurance information turned into the office so that we can take them. They must bring money for food--about $60 to $100, just to be safe. And they must come to the stage of the Little Theatre at 6:45 a.m. on January 20th with all the things they've packed for the weekend to get on the bus.

I'm super excited.

UTA Parent Meeting

The parent meeting will be held on Thursday, December 2nd at 6:00pm in the Little Theatre. Please come and talk about the trip.

Just FYI, please continue to check the blog for more information on the Utah Theatre Association Conference. I will be planning a parent meeting soon and you must get your form for Drama Club in as soon as possible. Check the call board.

New Play

As some of you have already probably noticed, the new play has been announced. We are going to be doing Harvey. Audition sign ups are in the Little Theatre and will be held on the 13th of December. Come ready with a short monologue or use the cold reads provided. Thanks a lot. I'm excited.

The musical is over and we survived. It was most definitely a success. I am so grateful for the experience and the things I was able to learn. I do ask that any actors who read this come and help clean up the dressing rooms. This was not done after the final show and it needs to be. Please and thank you.
